This charger is compatible with both NiCad and Lithium Ion batteries, allowing you to power your 18V cordless Ridgid tools with ease. It is designed to ensure the safety of your batteries by monitoring the temperature during the charging process. If the temperatures are extremely hot or cold, a panel on the front of the charger will notify you and adjust the charging process accordingly to reduce the risk of damaging your batteries.

Once a battery is fully charged, the charger will automatically deactivate, saving energy and preventing overcharging. This feature helps prolong the lifespan of your batteries and ensures their optimal performance.

To maximize your workshop space, this charger is designed with slots on the back that allow you to keep it on a pegboard. This convenient storage option helps keep your workspace organized and accessible.
